This visit reflected KIBC’s holistic approach to business
education—linking classroom theory with real-world practices in
health, environment, and food systems. The experience encouraged
students to think critically about global supply chains, local
farming models, and how innovation can solve pressing sustainability
issues.
The farm visit also fostered intercultural communication, teamwork,
and a sense of community among students from diverse
backgrounds—core values that KIBC promotes throughout its programs.
As part of a wider calendar of industry and field-based learning, the Healthy N Fresh visit demonstrated how knowledge, experience, and
sustainability can work hand-in-hand to support student
development—in business and beyond.
